North-Vic Constructions specialises in the application of a diverse range of skills and knowledge to deliver civil engineering products and services of premium quality. The works under all contracts are undertaken in accordance with the JAS-ANZ Certifications for integrated management systems, and the AustRoads Prequalifications R2, B3, and F15. We also have the VicRoads TGS Prequalification and RMS C2 Prequalification. Our typical areas of expertise include bridge construction, manufacturing precast facilities, foundation piling, road construction, electronic signage and telecommunications.
NVC provides a complete package, including design and construct of low maintenance structures and prefabricated construction to suit construction in enviornmentally sensitive areas. The entire construction process is carried out in close consultation with clients so that objectives are achieved and the final product successfully meets, or even exceeds, the client's expectations.
NVC also owns and operates a precast manufacturing yard, enabling us even greater versatility in arriving at economical solutions for clients while maintaining a strict quality assurance regime. We are currently able to produce many precast units, including:
- large and small T-beams
- retaining walls
- large precast pits & parapet walls
- specialty designs
NVC has the capacity and knowledge base to undertake general piling works such as bored piles and driven piles
An ability to construct roads as an adjunct to bridges is now extended to general road construction where similar management policy and systems control is applicable. Hume freeway rest areas, subdivision and bridge approaches have been successfully undertaken.
NVC successfully completed civil works associated with:
- Shopping strip signage in Richmond, North Fitzroy, Collingwood and Essendon
- Electronic sign installation on Shepard’s Bridge, Footscray and Merton Road, Altona
- Electronic speed controls at 80 school sites throughout Victoria
NVC has completed civil works for installation of infrastructure that services communication assets throughout Victoria. A great number of these were in remote locations with difficult terrain as access.
